The Tata Nexon is all set to be put into the production track by the end of 2016. The all new Tata Nexon will be placed above Bolt and Zest in the hierarchy as it is built on the superior X it is built on the superior X1 platform. It is likely that this model will be mounted with a 1.2 petrol and a 1.5 diesel engine which would defiantly give a stiff competition to Mahindra TUV300 and the ford EcoSport.
Due to the recent trends of growth in SUV sales in India which is quite prominent now, Tata Motors has been working on developing its SUV segment. Tata Nexon which is one of those concept cars which was displayed in the 2014 auto expo is now been put forth to compete with its rivals in the near future. The over design of its exteriors and interiors in its concept design was appreciated by automobile design experts across the world now.

The Nexon is 4 m long, 1.73 m wide and 1.61 m in its height. The colours that this model will be offered is not clear but, the concept model wore a sapphire hue which made it look magnificent. It also featured the honeycomb grilles and the chrome plated Tata logo. It is speculated that the headlamps will be fitted with LED lamps. The sideline of the Nexon is slightly uplifted which gives it a rather high stance. The tail lights are conical in shape and what just can be considered as a cherry on the tip of the cake is the multi-spoke alloy wheels.
Being portrayed as a future concept GenNext model this car will have a rather upmarket look to its interiors. The Nexon will be a part of the ConnectNext concept which features the next generation Harmon Infotainment System (HIM) and also focuses on providing advanced consoles and an uncomplicated head-up display. The other things that would be featured in this model will be intricately designed leather upholstery, comfortable seats with height adjustment console provided at the driver’s seat. Another feature of the Nexon which has become the talk of the town is that it would be a 7 seater. So there is room for Jump seats which has been featured it some other models of Tata Nexon.
The Tata Nexon has been designed as per the latest market trends and also has the much required safety features. It will have multiple airbags with sturdy suspensions which are built to suppress the force that is harnessed through potholes and uneven roads. Some of the other safety features that this model might feature are the engine immobilizer, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and child lock feature.
