Revealed – 2014 Land Rover Discovery Facelift

The official images of the soon to be launched all new 2014 Land Rover Discovery are let out by Tata Group owned British car maker and the car is expected to be launched during the forthcoming Frankfurt Motor Show. This is the updated version of Discovery and comes out with a revised front fascia that comprises of attractive new front all chrome grille, headlights that now comes with daytime running lights and a new front bumper. The Discovery lettering badge just sits nicely on the edge of the hood just above the new front grille. The car also gets attractive two new alloy wheel designs as well.



The 2014 Land Rover Discovery comes out now with an updated 3.0 litre SDV6 engine that is more fuel efficient and offers a fuel mileage of 35.3 mpg. The powerful power train is coupled to an eight speed ZF automatic transmission and the car now emits 213g of CO2 per kilometer. Some of the new sophisticated and innovative features that you will come across in the 2014 Land Rover discovery luxury SUV are: reverse traffic detection, Meridian audio system, blind spot monitoring, wade sensing technology, sensing of the vehicle closing by and T junction cameras. The car is all set to be launched during the Frankfurt Motor Show and the bookings of the car has already commenced in UK with deliveries slated to commence from November. The car should be coming to India, but there are no details on when it would come to India.
