An alleged press render of the upcoming Renault Duster based pickup truck has been spotted online. SUV based trucks in the major markets like United States are pretty famous and it looks like this is why Renault has converted one of the unit of the Renault Duster SUV into a pickup truck. Renault Duster SUV is at the moment one of the highest selling cars around the world. The vendor has been already taking up a huge dose of success in the Indian market with the Duster. However, we are not sure if Renault is going to launch the Duster based pickup truck in the Indian market because SUV based pickup trucks are not really that famous around here.
According to a report coming from Brazil, Renault is working on a pickup version of the Duster SUV. Rumours regarding this pickup truck has been floating around the web from a long time. According to the suppliers of Renault from Brazil, the Renault Duster pickup truck variant will be introduced sometimes around this year. Similar to India, the Renault Duster has also been a great success for the company in the Brazilian market. So, if the reports are true, the Renault Duster pickup truck will be first made available in Brazil.
Renault was earlier reported to introduce its Logan pickup truck in Brazil, but the vendor stated that it didn’t launch it because it couldn’t compete against the Chevrolet Montana. If reports are to be believed Renault will soon also launch a new compact SUV, tagged as the Captur.
