Jaguar is pretty far from the entry-level luxury sedan segment from quite some time now. However, the company is now working on a new Jaguar XE-S sedan for this segment. The vendor has recently released a new fresh image of the upcoming Jaguar XE-S, in which the front fascia of the new car is visible without any camouflage. The company will be launching the new XE-S car in London on September 8th.
According to the new image released by the company, the Jaguar XE-S will be looking pretty much similar to the XE and the XF models. It will be competing against the likes of the BMW 5 series, Mercedes Benz E class and the Audi A6 sedan cars. Jaguar has recently been promoting its cars by camouflaging the rival models of the company like the C Class and the 3 Series cars.
It looks like the new Jaguar XE-S entry level sedan will be taking design cues from the company’s flagship models like the F-TYPE sports car and the Jaguar XFR series as well. It will be having a new integral link suspension with multi link system. It is made using forged or hollow aluminum.
The Jaguar XE-S will be reportedly released with a new Ingenium family of the engines based on petrol and diesel fuelling. The performance variant of the car is likely to arrive with a 3.0 ltr supercharged V6 engine. Reports indicate that a new separate model with a 5.0 ltr V8 engine as well.
