Audi is planning to unveil the new A4 saloon throughout the world in 2015. Just like the current car, the new A4 will come with the option of three body style, the Allbroad, wagon and the sedan variant.
Wolfgang Egger, who is soon to depart from Audi, is the one to style this next generation Audi. Compared to its previous model, the new A4 will feature new LED headlamps, single frame grille, a shoulder line along the length of the car and bumpers with crease. All across the body works of the car; it is expected to have sharp creases. Although in terms of dimensions, the car will stay close to that of the previous A4, the luggage capacity has been increased due to packaging.
This 2015 Audi A4 will be the first conventional monocoque, which would show benefits of weight saving initiatives. This would also include the use of aluminium panels. As compared to the current A4, the drop in weight could be up to even 100kgs. The car is said to be powered by six and four cylinder, diesel as well as petrol engines. The A4 will also offer the new cylinder deactivation tech to its customers.
