The luxury automobile manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has expanded its reach in South Indian auto market with its fourth dealership store in Tamil Nadu. The new dealership in Tamil Nadu is located at South Veli Street, Madurai and is opened in collaboration with Sundaram Motors. The new store was inaugurated by Eberhard Kern, MD and CEO of the company in India.
The latest dealership store of the brand in Tamil Nadu is based on the company’s world class design philosophy. It is spread over 10,000 square feet area and has five cars on the display. There’s a customer lounge, a cafeteria and a boutique display in the dealership, which is aimed to provide a superlative luxury experience to the customers.
The company said that the new dealership showroom in Tamil Nadu is the brand’s 14th outlet this year. So far, Mercedes-Benz has launched ten products this year and has had good sales numbers. The vendor is hoping the same to do the next year as well. Sundaram Motors on the occasion said that it has been associated with Mercedes-Benz in the country for over a decade, and it will offer the best in class experience to the customers in Madurai with the new dealership.
In related news, Mercedes-Benz has launched a new brand for old cars in the Indian market. The company will be selling the pre-owned used cars in the country under the brand, Mercedes-Benz certified. There’s a rise of about 39 percent in India in the used car sales.
