Maruti Suzuki delivers 1,600 cars on the day of VaraMahalakshmi in Karnataka

Maruti Suzuki is known as one of the reputed brand in India. The Maruti Suzuki dealers across Karnataka have created a new record by delivering a total of 1,600 cars in one single day in the state.


The customers who have pre-booked their car in advance have received the car on the auspicious occasion of VaraMahalakshmi, a day dedicated to goddess Laxmi, the goddess of wealth, fortune and prosperity. The sources have informed that the customers had made a special request to Maruti so that they can take deliveries on this special day. Maruti dealers and management worked in tandem and tried to make almost all deliveries possible, bringing happiness on the face of customers.

The Commercial Business Head of South Zone, Ram Suresh Akella, welcomed the buyers of these 1,600 Maruti Suzuki cars and owed this sort of response to the host of features and best in class mileage offered. He wished all the 1,600  buyers taking delivery on the auspicious occasion a Happy Varamahalakshmi and Happy Motoring. The festival of VaraMahalakshmi is celebrated across Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu.

Maruti Suzuki commands a market share of 42.75% in Karnataka with the Swift, Dzire, Celerio and Ertiga being the most preferred models among buyers in the state. Sales of Maruti Suzuki hits an average sale of 7,300 per month in Karnataka and with the company’s premium offering gaining the attention of buyers in Karnataka, Maruti Suzuki sold 1,200 units of Ciaz during the period April to July 2015.
