Mahindra has already seen a lot of success with its Verito sedan in the Indian four-wheeler market and now the manufacturer has planned to launch a hatchback version of the successful car in the country.
The hatchback version of the Verito is expected to be launched in India next month and get its name dubbed as “Verito Vibe”. This upcoming Mahindra hatchback will get its length measured under 4 metres to avail the legal benefits for the cars falling under this category.
The Verito Vibe is speculated to arrive with a fairly spacious interior at the front as well as back. It is anticipated to be designed in a practical yet functional way alike the Verito sedan and possess a good equipment list too. The similarity list between the Verito sedan and the Verito Vibe will also include the power units including the diesel engine.
Mahindra will be launching and promoting the Verito Vibe as an individual car and not as a hatchback version of the Verito sedan. It will offer a rivalry to the Chevrolet Sail, Maruti Suzuki Swift, Toyota Liva and Hyundai i20 hatchbacks. Also, unlike the Verito which is inspired from the Dacia, the Verito Vibe is designed and developed entirely by the manufacturer itself.
Mahindra Verito Vibe has been in the talks since quite a long time now. Let’s see whether the hatchback meets to the people’s expectations or not, as the most noticeable part with its launch will be its pricing.
Please let us know, if any of you is planning to buy the Verito Vibe following its launch in the market.
