French car maker, Renault has thrown a direct challenge to India’s top car Maruti Suzuki Alto with the entry level hatchback Kwid. The new Renault Kwid is an India-specific mini hatchback that is styled like a SUV. This sporty and smart looking car could be wonder for Renault in terms of success, as it is also priced highly aggressively under Rs. 3 lakhs.
Ford Figo Aspire
Ford India’s only good selling car Figo has now got a sporty new facelift and also its compact sedan sibling in the form of the beautiful Ford Figo Aspire. The Aspire aspires to be Ford’s great warrior and make its mark in the very popular sub-4 meter compact sedan segment of India.
Maruti Suzuki Baleno
India’s car king created a wave with its new Baleno premium hatchback. This smart, feature rich new car has everything good and is garnering great sales. Although it has not really created a sensation in the premium hatch segment, the Baleno is thought to be a long runner.
Mahindra’s first all new sub-4 compact SUV model comes with the launch of the TUV300. Though it looks aggressive, its boxy design is certainly a turnoff. While the ardent Mahindra SUV lovers might have liked it, we surely hope that the competent TUV300 would look better.
Hyundai got its sensational launch with the Creta compact SUV. Not only this SUV is helping its maker achieve record sales, but also bagged the pretigious Indian Car of the year 2016 award. The Hyundai Creta is certainly the year’s one of best launches in terms of success.
Fiat Punto Abarth
Fiat has taken an oath to make a mark in the huge Indian car market with the launch of its sporty Abarth brand. The Fiat’s Punto Abarth offers a great sporty touch to the hatchback with head turning paint job and an all new booster engine for a new racing appeal.
Chevrolet launched its king size Trailblazer MPV for all those who love lavish long rides. It has everything good and is hoping to find more takers for its maker, which is struck with sales woes.
Mercedes AMG GT S
Mercedes-Benz had its lunch extravaganza with 15 new car models this year. Among all these, the Mercedes AMG GT S was a great stunner. This premium sports coupé is tagged at Rs 2.4 crore.
Mercedes Maybach S500 and S600
Mercedes’ Maybach luxury range offers everything even better. The Maybach S600 is priced at Rs. 2.6 crore, while the S500 is tagged at Rs 1.67 crore making it the most expensive car to be assembled in India.
This gorgeous beast of a luxury electric hybrid sports car can win hands down just for its looks. If you wish to do something to protect the environment and can shell out a hefty Rs. 2.29 crore, then the BMW i8 is a must buy.
