On the 17th of April 2014, Ford Mustang will celebrate its 50th anniversary. To make this moment more memorable, the company is developing a right hand drive model of this car. This new version of Ford Mustang is most likely going to enter the UK and Australian markets. The car will be unveiled on the exact day of its 50th anniversary. The event will be held at one of the paddocks of the 2014 New York Motor Show.
The company will be increasing the Mustang market further and it has been revealed that Ford will also roll out an Indian edition of the car in the form of a “halo” product. In India, Ford has the reputation of offering “common man’s” cars. The arrival of Mustang in the country will surely add to the status of the brand here.
The present model of Mustang is available with 3 engine options. The car is powered by a V6 3 liter engine, a 5 liter engine especially for the mustang GT and a powerful V8 5.8 liter engine for the Shelby GT500. We still do not have any knowledge regarding the variant of Mustang will be launched in India.
The company is as if now busy planning the actual sales target. Looking at the present strategy and keeping in mind the dropping value of rupee, Mustang will cost at least Rs 40 lacs in India.
The company will launch the Mustang in India in the year 2015.
