The Japanese manufacturer Honda has sizzled the ongoing Auto Shanghai 2013 by unveiling its much awaited sedan Honda Crider. This car has made its debut at this ongoing event.
This new sedan will be catering the gap between the Accord and Civic. The word has been derived from two words “Criteria” and “Dream”. This new car will be manufactured by the joint venture of Honda and Guangzhou.
The Honda Crider will be powered by a 1.8 litre petrol engine, which will come in two transmission options. One will be 5 Speed manual gearbox and the other will be an automatic variant. However, a 2.0 Litre engine variant is also expected.
On the exterior, Honda Crider boasts a big chrome front grille, which will appeal to young buyers. It has got a bright headlight assembly with lots of LEDs. The roof top design gives a sporty look to the sedan. However, Its tail light assembly is not so appealing. Overall, its design makes it resemble to other Honda sedans in the market. Its biggest rival will be the upcoming Hyundai Sonata Lite.
This Sedan is 4.65 m long, 1.75 m broad and 1.5 m tall. It is designed to appeal the markets of China. However, it can later mark its presence in the other parts of the world including India also.
Honda recently launched its much awaited Amaze in Indian market, which is the first diesel car by Honda in India. Honda is expecting this sedan to touch new benchmarks for the company.
