In the next few months, Mumbaikars will see a new Ferrari showroom in the city. The Italian coveted brand deals in India via its Indian distributor, Shreyans and has an outlet in New Delhi already. Now the company has expressed its desire to start a dealership in the financial capital of the country, Mumbai. This new show room will be located close to the Phoenix Mills Compound in Lower Parel.
So far Ferrari has been selling through its showroom in New Delhi and now Mumbai will also become the business hub for the company. The company has sold 6, 992 vehicles globally in this year and has seen a growth of 5% in its profits.
At present Ferrari vehicles which are sold are 100% personalized and the Tailor Made Program has gained a lot of popularity. The Classic Department has been growing in terms of profitability and activity. The company has planned a new strategy for delivering its vehicles to the dealerships under which the volume of vehicles will be reduced but more emphasis will be given to the markets which see a high demand for Ferrari vehicles so that the waiting period can be reduced.
On the anniversary of Ferrari Enzo, the company has accepted a new challenge by taking over the present management of the Museo Casa Natale Enzo Ferrari located in Modena. This museum is located in the heart of the city and will go hand in hand with the activities of Ferrari Maranello which saw 320, 000 visitors in 2013.
