The current calendar year of 2015 has already witnessed a slew of new car model launches, and with the Indian festive season here, a lot more launches are in the pipeline. Here is the list of the 5 best facelift model launches this year:
Range Rover Evoque
Indian auto major, Tata Motors own Jaguar Land Rover is soon to launch the new 2016 Range Rover Evoque in India.
The Range Rover Evoque facelift gets redesigned bumper, wider air intakes, revamped front grille, full LED headlights, new tailgate spoiler, new graphics on the LED tail lights, and new bolder alloy wheels. On the inside, the new Evoque gets new door linings, new seat upholstery, and updated 8 inch touchscreen display integrated infotainment system.
The refreshed Evoque will offer better off-road treader, as it gets the All-Terrain Progress Control system. It also gets powered by Ingenium TD4 turbocharged diesel mill that is much lighter and offers two states of tune – 150 bhp and 180 bhp. The petrol version gets a Si4 turbocharged 240 bhp unit.
Maruti Suzuki Ertiga
The refreshed new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga will soon launch in India with a number of exterior and interior updates, along with the SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki) system empowering its diesel version. The Ertiga SHVS will offer better fuel efficiency.
The new 2015 Maruti Ertiga facelift gets a revised front fascia with a bolder new three slat chrome radiator grille with restyled air dam, new bumper design, chrome bezels on the fog lights, chrome garnish on the tailgate, 10-spoke 15 inch alloy wheels and restyled tail lights with new reflectors.
The compact MPV gets a dual-tone waterfall dashboard design, brown seat fabric, silver inserts on the steering wheel, electrically adjustable ORVMs, dual front airbags, etc.
The Renault Duster brought the much needed fame for Renault in India and its facelift model is set to boost its sales. The new Duster gets a new single slate front grille, new headlight design, updated bumpers, newly designed alloy wheels and restyled taillights. But the biggest change will be the AMT technology that will make its way into the car. The new Duster is expected to get the Easy-R transmission with its 1.5 liter 110 PS variant.
Mahindra Quanto lost its initial glory and is looking to gain back much of it with its facelift model along with an AMT option.
The facelift Quanto will take design inspiration from the new-gen Scorpio to look more aggressive. The same 1.5 liter diesel mill is expected to be carried forward with an expected update. Mahindra is also speculated to offer a tweaked suspension on the Quanto for enhanced comfortable ride.
The new facelift Skoda Superb is a larger and roomier car, albeit with more stylish visual appeal. The new generation Superb is also an impressive all-round vehicle and the new refreshed model adds on to its advantages.
Superb is likely to get updated 1.8 TSI petrol & 2.0 TDI diesel mills paired to the manual and DSG transmissions.
