General Motors has unveiled the first official picture of the new 2014 Camaro convertible preceding its debut at Frankfurt later this year. Both the Camaro coupe as well as convertible editions will be debuting at the show. As is in the Coupe, the face lifted convertible now has modified bumpers, new head and tail lights as well as a revamped grille. The bonnet has a functional vent which reduces heat and aerodynamic lift while at the rear, a diffuser; horizontal maps and a sculptural deck lid are included. The car also comes with a spoiler which has an integral antenna.
A new MyLink infotainment system has also been integrated into the model which has a seven inch touch screen as well as Bluetooth Aux/USB support. A 6.2-litre V8 engine is set to be included for the European market which gives 569Nm of torque and 432bhp of power output. The convertible has a 0-100kmph speed of 5.4 seconds while the coupe takes only 5.2 seconds to do the same.
