Some spyshots of the refreshed Toyota Vios sedan have surfaced recently. The dominant reason behind our excitement is the expectation that the innovation will soon hit the Indian market to give a tough competition to the Honda City sedan presently ruling the segment on the soil.
Toyota Vios is a sedan based on the Yaris hatchback from the Japanese manufacturer. The Vios is already very popular in various abroad markets but the new-gen refreshed variant of the sedan made more appealing by its maker, brings along side a buzz, as it is expected to be launched soon in India.
The talks in between the car freaks include that the new Vios may get powered with an improved version of the previous 1.5 litre VVT-i engine. Either it may be a CVT engine or trusting on the vehicle planners we may anticipate a 4-speed power unit. The 3rd generation Vios has been beautified with a bold new front look that seems to be inspired by the Corolla Altis sedan and Auris hatchback.
2013 Toyota Vios has been made look aggressive by joining the headlights and front grille in a V-shape. The headlamps appear to be a projector one, if so, then nothing can beat the Vios in the sportiness factor. The other alluring features of the sedan include bigger tail lamps, more crisp wrap-arounds and chrome bar affixed across the boot lid.
The 2013 version of the Vios sedan is more edgy, enthusiastic and combative. Thus, for the Honda City which has been ruling the hearts of the Indians since almost a decade now, there will arrive a menace if the Vios succeeds in enticing the Indians.
